D'Alembert or d'Alembert?

edit

Shouldn't this article be titled "Le rêve de d'Alembert"? The man was called d'Alembert. Maproom (talk) 16:43, 1 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

  •   Note: Nominator is a WikiEd student editor for the Fall 2020 term at University of Chicago. (course link) The course ends on December 13, 2020.. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 03:40, 15 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • As the course ended on December 13 and the nominator hasn't edited since then, if there are any remaining issues that are fixable, a new editor will be needed to address them unless the nominator returns. For what it's worth, it appears that the article received a 5x expansion, but this is dated to late November, whereas the nomination was created in December. However, given that the nominator is a student editor who has no prior DYK experience, an argument could be made that a one-time IAR exemption could be granted here, provided that the other DYK criteria are met. • Note that Patrickhduffey has made a subsequent edit to the article (17 December), several days after the class ended, so further work may be possible if required by a review. The article's 5x expansion started on 24 November and should have been nominated by 1 December; 10 December is, unfortunately, 16 days later, beyond most IAR exceptions here at DYK. The second round of expansion within the seven day period prior to the nomination on 10 December started at 2712 prose characters, and 5x that is 13560; the article is currently at 8949 prose characters, meaning another 4611 would be needed. •   The nom hasn't returned since the aforementioned edit on December 17 and are unlikely to return given that the course has already ended. The article is still some way from a 5x expansion, and while great work has been done here, a 5x expansion was either not accomplished or the nomination wasn't made in time. Regrettably marking for closure. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 09:43, 22 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
