Stop removing Agust D as producer in What Do You Think

edit

He has been listed as producer in Bighit website and in Apple Music. EriEriXo (talk) 22:27, 1 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

As far as I know, Apple Music only lists writers and composers, not producers. What Bighit website are you referring to? Aroseo (talk) 04:48, 2 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Agust D or Suga

edit

I think some people may not know Suga's other name Suga is more current. So it's better to change the name Agust D to Suga. HONDA Gang (Talk) 19:22, 5 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

@HondaGang: The first line of the article says "D-2 is the second mixtape released by South Korean rapper Agust D, better known as Suga of boy band BTS". And it's not about a name being more current or popular. He has different stage names for different projects and in this one he uses Agust D. - Ïvana (talk) 19:31, 5 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Producer credits

edit

KOMCA currently only lists people marked under A for author and C for composer. KOMCA is the source for which people got Ghstloop and El Capitxn as producers for the song, as they are both marked "C" in KOMCA. Suga is marked alongside them as a composer.

While outside of kpop, composer and producer often mean different things, KOMCA classifies them together.

If you can provide an official source for the producers OUTSIDE of KOMCA, please do. Until that source is provided, Suga should remain as a producer. Or the entire producer category should be altered to say "Composers". But as of right now, I cannot find a SINGLE official credit listing that lists El Capitxn and Ghstloop and not Suga as well. You're welcome to locate one. @Ïvana Jayb.rd98 (talk) 23:37, 23 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Again, KOMCA doesn't list producers. Composer and producers are different things, in or outside of kpop. The WP:ONUS is on you to find a source that supports the changes you want to be made, but since you asked, we do have official credits in the Dropbox link they shared when the mixtape dropped (page 9 here in case you're feeling lazy). Producers are also listed in their official Souncloud account and in Spotify. - Ïvana (talk) 01:05, 24 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
