I believe Walsh meets notability criteria based on the widespread national attention she received from press in 2008 as a result of her run against Nancy Pelosi and Cindy Sheehan in the San Francisco district (8th CD). I have removed the tag; if you disagree, please explain why below. See also: WP:BIO— Preceding unsigned comment added by Jonschr (talk • contribs) 21:50, 16 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
I believe you are mistaken - she did not get attention from the press - she is noteworthy because she raised a ton of money via professional fund raising firms and instead of running in her own district against Jackie Speier she is running against Pelosi as it makes her more money in donations. She is not running a serious campaign - she is running to get money and fund raising contacts. She also lies and continues to flout basic ethics such as reposting a video that has been removed from various sites due to copyright violations. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.106.59.170 (talk • contribs) 01:23, 5 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
