Dropping in to say that the article was definitely not fit for DYK at the time of promotion, having mixed high school and college events and falsely claiming that Marcano played in the NCAA championship. @CeeGee, Orygun, Bruxton, and Kingsif: I have now added some very important content and sources that were missing to the Danielle Marcano article, and would like to propose that the hook be changed, as I don't think the current hook does justice to her as a player. CeeGee, what do you think of something like:
