Notability and verifiability
editUnless someone can provide evidence of the notability, and also provide reliable sources to verify that these places even exist, then it is likely that I will take a knife to this article before much longer. We have standards, and lists of dargahs are no different to lists of people etc - they must comply with our basic policies. - Sitush (talk) 16:53, 20 December 2011 (UTC)
Hi Sitush,
Out of that 5Ps mentioned, which part do you feel that, this article doesn't meet and How? Wasif (talk) 14:10, 22 December 2011 (UTC)
- WP:V, WP:N, WP:RS. Not to forget WP:NOTDIR and probably WP:NLIST. The latter two are not immediately obvious at WP:5P but they exist. As places these things probably should prove their notability by having standalone articles to which the entries in this list are linked. - Sitush (talk) 14:21, 22 December 2011 (UTC)
Contents
editWe have requirements for list entries, including WP:NLIST. We also have a convention that Wikipedia is not a directory - see WP:NOTDIR. Lists that are based on listing websites and that have entries without articles on Wikipedia by definition fail the tests. That's why I removed the content & that is what I explained in my removals; it is also why I am going to remove it again. If anyone wants to add an entry to this list then go create an article for the dargah first and thus assert its notability. - Sitush (talk) 16:46, 26 March 2014 (UTC)
