I don't understand the sentence "Director Kumel, interviewed by Mark Gatiss for the BBC documentary Horror Europa said that he deliberately styled Delphine Seyrig's character after Marlene Dietrich and Andrea Rau's after Louise Brooks to deepen the intertextual resonance.". Like, "intertextual resonance" with WHAT? Which "text" are we meant to be "resonating" with here, exactly? I'm familiar with both of those actresses, to be sure, wonderful performers, both of them, but I don't get what specifically ABOUT them is supposed to be being referred to here. It sure doesn't help that not a single citation is to be found in the entire section this sentence appears in. I've tagged the whole section as unsourced and that specific sentence as needing clarification because it is simply vague. StrexcorpEmployee (talk) 14:18, 18 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
