editthis page needs some attention. What about the history of DeSmet? Why was DeSmet founded? Put DeSmet in the context of a long lineage of Jesuit schools worldwide, and among catholic schools in St. Louis. For example, there are many all-boys catholic schools in St. Louis - where does DeSmet fit in?
