Formation

edit

The page shows 1998 as the first year the band was active. It appears this was the year Josh Reedy and Brian Bunn started playing together. I would argue that 2001 is a more accurate date for the band's formation, given that is when Eric Miker joined and that trio was the first lineup to use the name DecembeRadio. This page (Soul Devine), however, suggests that either Eric's involvement might not have been permanent as late as 2002-2003. (It's also possible that that performance took place much earlier than the copyright on the page.) Does anyone really know the band's history between 2001 and 2005? —Zeagler 14:23, 2 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

GA Review

This review is transcluded from Talk:DecembeRadio/GA1. The edit link for this section can be used to add comments to the review.

  • Oh wow...really cool pic. You're lucky. :)
    • Thank you. I'm fortunate that the band is willing to work with me on this stuff. —Zeagler (talk)
  • First paragraph of lead needs work. The last sentence implies that you've mentioned the original lineup somewhere, but it seems you haven't. (well, you have next paragraph, but it should be from the start...)
  • "to take up guitar, as well" - you haven't said what else he played prior to this
    • Sorry, I meant that he took up guitar in addition to Josh Reedy. Changed to make it clear that Reedy played "Johnny B. Goode" on guitar. —Zeagler (talk)
  • "Noise is a self-produced album of praise and worship covers on which each band member contributes at least two lead vocals,[9] and Dangerous contains nine original songs and a cover of "Are You Gonna Go My Way" by Lenny Kravitz." - put these in past tense and include the fact that Noise was their debut, when they were released, stuff like that...
    • Fixed tense, but I don't have the other information. I tried to get it (see ref. #9), but the band doesn't seem to know, either. Best I can tell, the two albums were released concurrently. —Zeagler (talk)
  • Refer to band members only by surnames after you've introduced them.
    • I've removed second occurrences of full names within each major section, but I think it's best to repeat the full name when starting a new section. (If the article were on just one person I'd agree with you.) Is that okay? —Zeagler (talk)
  • Ref 26 seems broken
  • Is the myspace blog in the references section actually cited anywhere?

Please leave a note on my talk page when you're done with these comments. Cheers, dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 11:03, 27 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
