Lil Kim

IMDB says that its cast list is complete, but I couldn't see mama deluxe or any of Lil Kim's names. Is she really in the film? Tim Ivorson 08:48, 21 Jun 2005 (UTC)

I've checked Lil Kim's imdb page and it says she first appeared in film in 1999's She's All That. I can see no evidence at all that she was in this film. I'm therefore deleting the reference.I'm also pretty dubious about the CGI reference as my memory is that this was a pretty standard undercover cop/thriller that wouldn't need CGI. Theme song

Since the article itself even mentions that the theme song may be more famous, shouldn't either a) "Deep Cover" redirect to the song, rather than the movie, or b) "Deep Cover" direct to a disambiguation page? Many people may only know the movie as part of the video to the song (which is extremely influential in the hip-hop community).

The article isn't entirely correct. A line from the song became very popular, but its popularity almost certainly rose through the other, later songs it appeared in. The song itself from the movie is not well-known in and of itself. Xihr (talk) 05:39, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

I disagree - I had forgotten entirely there was a movie at all. The song Deep Cover still gets some radio play. Was also featured prominently in Grand Theft Auto - San Andreas, and pretty much launched Snoop Dogg's career. 141.155.129.166 (talk) 23:08, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
