My name is Fany Carolina and I'm going to tell you my bad story with MY TRIP. I am Brazilian, I have two children and I have lived in Denmark since 2019. In January of this year (23), we returned to Brazil for the first time.

We bought our tickets in October, through the My Trip agency, to return to Brazil on January 24, 2023, through the airline ITA/KLM.

On January 19th, we received an automatic email from the MY TRIP agency saying that the ticket would change on the way back, I could choose between rescheduling or canceling it. We chose to request a reschedule. After this request, we received another automatic email asking us to wait for confirmation with the new ticket. This email never arrived.

During the entire month of January, my partner and I called the ITA airline and the MY TRIP agency numerous times. In phone calls, the airline ITA said that we should deal with MY TRIP and vice versa.

Our ticket was purchased with insurance in such cases, we have the right to reschedule or cancel. But tirelessly we called countless times, so that could happen and nothing happens.

As of January 24th, our communication with the MY TRIP agency, (by phone), said that a new email would be sent within 24 hours confirming the new date for the return trip, always within 3 days , after starting these conversations.

PS- From that day on, the conversations were recorded on video, as proof of the phone calls made and the MY TRIP agency disclaiming responsibility).

So far nothing has been resolved! We do not have return tickets or refunds.

What did this mean for my family?

-My partner missed more than 15 days of work in Denmark, as the vacation was scheduled. He needed to return to work on the 23rd of February.

- We have all the bills overdue, from the rent of our house, to my children's school, without being able to pay, because my partner gets paid if he works.

- We stayed in Brazil indefinitely, without any kind of assistance from the agency or the airline, unable to return home.

- As there is no resolution, on March 6th, we need to pay another U$ 1,000.00 in a new ticket for March 9th, for my companion to return to Denmark.

- Withdrawal of my 4 and 2 year old children from their father's coexistence and from the school routine. 179.100.21.157 (talk) 13:09, 18 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
