As an aide-mémoire, and not admissible in Wikipedia due to it being considered original research; the birth of a Desmond J. Case (mother's maiden name Davies) was registered during April→June 1918 in Newport district, this would be consistent with the date of birth of 30 June 1918 as stated by an unregistered user on 15 October 2017. Best regards. 18:34, 15 October 2017 (UTC)
It's actually the 20th June 1918. And he died c. Feb 1997 in Blaeneau Gwent, Gwent, Wales, aged 78. Middle name was James. It's all in the birth/death index. Trying to find a RS to tie it to right now. --Jkaharper (talk) 22:31, 10 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
