Merger proposal
editI propose that Rollsign be merged into Destination sign. I think that the content in the Rollsign article can easily be explained in the context of Destination sign, and the Destination sign article is of a reasonable size in which the merging of Rollsign will not cause any problems as far as article size or undue weight is concerned. - Why? What would be the benefit of combining them? SJ Morg (talk) 11:41, 4 January 2011 (UTC)
Signage
editwhat... if? you edit them oh!, change your explanation, as u did? 101.183.100.217 (talk) 04:39, 8 August 2015 (UTC)
- What in the world does that mean? In my edit summary, I was referring to your lack of any explanation in the edit summary for your change, which you've now done again – changed cats without any explanation in the edit summary. I did not change any "explanation"; I only undid your unexplained category changes. SJ Morg (talk) 06:55, 8 August 2015 (UTC)
What are these called?
editDoes anyone know anything about these? What are they called? Does anyone have any information like manufacturers &c.?
Now that the world is switching to high-resolution LCD and LED panels you hardly see these any more, so I'd like to learn something about them before they're gone completely and it'll become even harder to get information about them. But right now, I don't even know what to punch into the search engines. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.114.146.117 (talk) 03:15, 7 March 2017 (UTC)
History of electronic signs?
editDoes anyone know when LCD/LED destination signs became a thing? The sections about rollsigns and flip-disc signs contain some history, but the electronic display section has no dates whatsoever. A quick Google search didn't yield any answers either. Saucy[talk – contribs] 04:26, 29 July 2020 (UTC)
