Another instance of Destiny's telepathy?

In Dazzler #23, Destiny claims to be able to "read Rogue's thoughts." Is this some fluke occurrence, or perhaps a manifestation of Destiny's latent telepathic abilities (alluded to in the main body of the article) made stronger due to her connection to Rogue, or perhaps she was not speaking in a literal sense, but simply knowing Rogue as she did, she anticipated how Rogue would feel about Mystique's decision to leave Dazzler alone.

It occurs to me that if Destiny could read Rogue's thoughts, she must have been an extraordinarily powerful telepath. Not all male

Despite the claims of the first paragraph, NOT all of Mystique's Brotherhood of Evil Mutants were male. Rogue, who first appeared in Avengers Annual #10, their daughter, was female. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.91.38.200 (talk) 02:14, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

Other Irene Adlers

Irene Adler is also the name of the antagonist of the Sherlock Holmes story "A Scandal in Bohemia." Does anyone know if there's a connection? Sgt.widget 06:20, 22 March 2007 (UTC)Sgt.Widget

The article for the character in question (Irene Adler) states that Destiny was hinted in the comics to be either the same person, or the inspiration for the Doyle character; and I remember seeing that in the comics. Destiny's Death

Someone had asked in what issue showed her death. I don't recall the issue number, but I think it had something to do with Freedom Force going to Muir Island to liberate it from the Reavers? Would have been early 90s, circa #255...? In reality, the Shadow King was taking over the Island, and I think he just wanted more and more people to turn into slaves. Destiny reminded Mystique that her death was inevitable, and was killed shortly thereafter. 204.153.84.10 19:13, 23 March 2007 (UTC)

"During this stint her team was sent to Muir Island and were confronted by the Reavers, who killed her teammates Stonewall. During the battle she charged Forge with the duty of protecting Destiny. Forge managed to protect her until she convinced him that Mystique needed more help. After Forge left to help Mystique, Destiny was slain by a mind controlled Legion. After the battle with the Reavers Mystique discovered Destiny dead and swore vengeance on Forge for her death." 204.153.84.10 19:16, 23 March 2007 (UTC)

Bisexual?

Is there any compelling source stating that Destiny is bisexual? Her only lover in the comics, as far as I know, is Mystique. Twin Bird (talk) 03:06, 4 March 2008 (UTC)

Appearance in Exiles

There was an Exiles storyline which she appeared in (the one with the Magneto+Professor X-copying Mimic). Could somebody do the research and put it in?79.182.34.112 (talk) 22:14, 11 January 2009 (UTC)
