Stock sound effects

edit

Many of the clips use stock sound effects (crowd reacting to a crash, explosions, things hitting other objects, etc). Should this be mentioned? It does tend to get noticeable and annoying at times...

Sadly, it's pretty common on most accident-clip shows. Hearing squealing tires and racing engines from a helicopter shot, or tire screeching on a DIRT road. On this or some other recent show, you could tell people talking in the video were obviously the same across numerous vidoes, especially when some were obviously shot in non-English countries!! I wonder if there is a generic article for these types of shows, or if one should be created if not? Andyross (talk) 21:18, 10 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Similar shows

edit

Would World's most amazing videos (Shown on the channel Bravo and also Virgin 1) be classed as a similar show? This programme features the same sort of things (Accidents, crashes etc.) but not everything gets destroyed. Should it be included? Chevymontecarlo (talk) 14:29, 7 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

This page has become just a list of stuff, instead of a summary of the show. The manual and style are counter active to reading, and it is just copied directly from another web site word for word, which isn't even referenced at all. As it says in the standards of Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Television: Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information. I will try redo this entire thing someday, which will include deleting most of it. Tvashtar2919 (talk) 23:03, 26 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
