Why two articles on the instrument and the instrument players without any significance? Merge Dhak (instrument) and Dhaki. Aditya^{(talk • contribs)} 05:09, 13 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

There are many articles such as Drummer and Drum, Pianist and Piano, Guitarist and Guitar, Flautist and Flute, Organist and Organ, where there are separate articles on the musician and the musical instrument. So what is wrong in having separate articles on Dhaki and Dhak? There is a separate category Occupations in music. Secondly, if the proposer is bent upon merging, merge Dhak with Dhaki because Dhaki is a longer article with more specific information, and has gone through DYK.
