GA on hold

edit

A couple of minor things and I'll promote this:-

  • Is there any chance you could remove one or two references from the end of the sentence "...affected his posture and balance.[1][3][4][5]" - ie. if they double up on what you're referencing, only include one. Generally, two refs per end of each sentence is the max.
  • Some of the references seem to be broken in their formatting.
  • Does reference 1 apply to the whole first paragraph? If it does, can you add it again in the middle somewhere; if not, find a reference for the info.
  • Does India cricket have an official player profile page? If so, please include it in Ext. Links.

This article has been reviewed as part of Wikipedia:WikiProject Good articles/Project quality task force. I believe the article currently meets the criteria and should remain listed as a Good article. In all a very good article. The article history has been updated to reflect this review. • It is reasonably well written.

Only one slight comment here, which is that a new heading may be appropriate after Recall, as the text continues onto other subjects and takes up most of the article unbroken. Try adding a new heading in at some pointto break this up.--Jackyd101 (talk) 09:26, 25 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned references in Dinesh Karthik

edit

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Dinesh Karthik's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "testlist":

  • From Harbhajan Singh: "Statsguru - Harbhajan Singh - Tests - Innings by innings list". Cricinfo. Retrieved 2007-01-17.
  • From Muttiah Muralitharan: Cricinfo, Highest Test Wicket-takers
  • From Bangladesh national cricket team: Cricinfo Statsguru - Bangladesh - Test matches - Team analysis

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 08:36, 21 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

POV editing

edit

Hello King123497, and thank you for your contributions to this article. However, please keep in mind to make your edits from a neutral point of view. The article already has a POV tag. Words like stupendous, dumped, etc. are not appropriate. And naming sections 'DK 2.0', or something like that is also not encyclopedaic. Also provide reliable sources to back statements. Thanks, and happy editing. Kpddg (talk) 11:22, 23 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
