Donald Hardman's time as Chief of Staff of the Royal Australian Airforce & the Atomic Tests
editThe Emu Field Totem One and Totem Two atomic tests did occur under his tenure. He commanded the forces and the aircraft used to fly through the atomic mushroom clouds. The Royal Commission into British Atomic Tests in Australia found negligence in the management of the safety of flight crews involved in the test. Why is this not relevant to include in his description.
