He's listed primarily as a producer, but his IMDB page - [1] - doesn't list him as a producer of anything. Isn't Wikipedia supposed to be about what people have done, as opposed to how they see themselves? (If not, could someone make a page about me and how i'm a world renowned philantropist and nice guy?) svennirusl 21:23, 11 April 2007 (GMT)

The body of this article appears to have been ripped wholesale from http://donnie-wahlberg.biography.ms/. Unfortunately, I can't verify this as the site will not load on my machine, but Google's summary is a word-for-word match of the opening paragraph.

By the way, that's because they copied it from a DB dump of Wikipedia. (similar to Answers.com, etc.) 69.208.64.181 23:44, 4 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Regardless of copyright issues, major POV bias is apparent throughout the article and in this and other areas, it really needs attention. Unfortunately I don't think I'm the man for the job. Would anyone care to do the honours?

Yes, the article looks like a fan review. I have tried to change the most obvious once, but it was changed back again.--Padda 21:23, 6 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

I agree on the POV bias, from New Kids on the Block being a "popular" group on down, but as I think they and him are all clowns, I don't think I'm the right one to edit this page either. Let's not correct POV one way by swinging it all the way to the other side. Highlander3751 21:40, 22 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Though I loathe the Backstreet Boys I think the POV has swung too far the other way. Is there really a neccessity to talk about his 'horrid flatulence' and 'stagnant career'? David Cheater 22:27, 1 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Picture

edit

The picture that's up there now isn't exactly stellar. It's pushing on two decades old, plus it's not very professional or of great quality. Anyone have something better? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.184.254.109 (talk) 08:23, 7 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

  • I updated the photo a recent one taken head on (the previous one was a shot take from an odd side angle and his eyes were half closed) I have taken several pics with and of him and its rare to catch him these days without sunglasses! —Preceding unsigned comment added by NKOTB1988 (talkcontribs) 05:33, 1 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Entourage

edit

Johnny Drama is not primarily based on Donnie...on the DVD for Entourage Season 2 in the special feature called the Mark Wahlberg Sessions, they identify the person who Johnny is largely based on. I am not making the edit because I dont have the DVD's handy.

Fair use rationale for Image:Donni duddits.jpg

edit

Image:Donni duddits.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Why is he credited as a Detective on pretty much every role on his filmography? =S —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.159.127.10 (talk) 16:56, 10 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Personal Life

edit

Why has most of this information been deleted? It contained info on his wife and two children with good references =S —Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.61.254.27 (talk) 03:39, 2 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

I really wish people understood the difference in separated and divorced. Yes, Wahlberg & Fey filed for divorce in 2008, however it is yet to be finalized and they remain in a state of separation. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.28.41.166 (talk) 06:50, 6 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Sister's Death

edit

Donnie's page lists her death as being in 2004 while Mark's lists it being in 2003 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.118.204.233 (talk) 02:22, 5 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Yes I noticed this too, and posted a corresponding note there. Does anybody have a definitive correction to one of them? ChrisJBenson (talk) 01:10, 13 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Answering my own question: This 2003 web posting shows that Debbie Wahlberg died in October 2003, so I have corrcted this article. ChrisJBenson (talk) 05:38, 30 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Name

edit

How can you say in a note on the edit page his middle name isn't Edmond when there are way more articles and sites that list his full name as Donald Edmond Wahlberg Jr? just curious as to that. I'll stop editing back to Edmond but most sources I have come across online list his name as Edmond and I was just trying to make the page accurate. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.0.118.9 (talk) 10:48, 18 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

His middle name is Edmond. Google came up with six sources. Why is Wikipedia wrong?Simon (talk) 04:04, 22 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Because nobody has cited any sources in the article. You've got six; pick one and cite it. Doniago (talk) 13:46, 22 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Re: Boston's Finest

edit

should it also mention along with being one of Executive Producers that Wahlberg is narrator on show? If so, could someone add it? 68.231.25.212 (talk) 05:19, 4 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
