Missing An Anchor
[edit]What are the regulations for reporting the loss of an anchor? For that matter, are they generic and/or embossed with the name of their ship? The bigger ones would be, one might think. kencf0618 (talk) 14:22, 27 December 2024 (UTC)
- Afaik: None - perils of the sea. With a tanker in theory, you would not get a certificate to leave the next port you visit without a new anchor. Except for ports in Russia, where they apparently dont do inspections anymore. Alexpl (talk) 17:52, 4 January 2025 (UTC)
The ship's own survey
[edit]There is a 170-page technical accident investigation made by the ship, at eagles-report.com. Should this be added to the wikipedia page? ~2026-11950-43 (talk) 11:06, 23 February 2026 (UTC)
