Export of the EU - which data to use?
editThe current export figure on the wikipedia page of the economy of the European union states $8.705 Billions dollars worth of export. This figure includes intra-EU exports of (France to Germany for example) and extra-EU exports (EU member states exports towards none EU member states) cf:https://www.statista.com/statistics/1384673/eu-international-trade-intra-extra-exports-goods/
I feel like it would be better to only include extra-EU export numbers for this figure, as intra-EU export figures inflates the value if you want to compare the EU to another country such as china or the USA. For example, you don't count export from California to Texas and vice versa to count the export of the USA.
In that case, the export of the EU would become €2.56 Billion for 2023, or around $2.8 billion. 2A01:E0A:32E:BF80:957C:D572:FDFB:3C87 (talk) 19:04, 2 July 2024 (UTC)
