Critical response

edit

Eddie the Eagle received mixed <--per source, dont change--> -REF- http://hwhiles.com/new-eddie-the-eagle-movie-got-mixed-reviews-from-top-critics/ -REF- reviews from critics. On Rotten Tomatoes, the film has a score of 76%, based on 103 reviews, with an average rating of 6.4/10. The site's consensus reads, "Eddie the Eagle's amiable sweetness can't disguise its story's many inspirational clichés – but for many viewers, it will be more than enough to make up for them." Metacritic gives the film a score of 53 out of 100, based on 33 critics, indicating "mixed or average reviews". Audiences polled by CinemaScore gave the film an average grade of "A" on an A+ to F scale.

First of all, that "hwhiles" does not even load. I even did a Google search and found nothing. Secondly, out of the three review sites listed - Rotten Tomatoes, Meta Critic and Cinema Score - is is clear if you combine the 'scores' the film received positive reviews. 76% on Rotten Tomatoes and A on Cinema Score beat Meta Critic's 53. Also remember Meta Critic usually has a lower score than the rest of movie sites. So because of this, and the 'hwhiles' link, and whatever that was supposed to be not working, if no one replies or tries to fix the reception section within 48 hours, and also comment here with changes and new and possible fixed sources I will change it myself. Also keep in mind, I could easily find a review on a website that says it received "positive" reviews and say "per source, don't change". Charlr6 (talk) 11:28, 5 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Distance of 70m jump

edit

Having just seen the film, I'm almost certain that the claim that his 70m jump at Calgary was 51m is wrong. I think it was 60.5m, but not 100% clear. Maybe someone else can take notes when they watch. ColinBell (talk) 18:02, 30 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

The result of the move request was: IAR closing early. Editors have noted several problematic RMs by IP (dynamic) these few weeks. Consider an WP:ANI report. Not moved, WP:SNOW (non-admin closure) — Andy W. (talk ·ctb) 18:48, 18 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
