Personal recollections

My comment re panning gold from the assay pulps: I was working in St. Joe's Tucson exploration office at that time (late 1970's), and panning gold from the El Indio pulps was a common lunch-break sport. Additionally, I think the ore specimen I added to the article from the Wendy pit, Tambo mine has visible gold (lower middle left of specimen). But the writeup doesn't mention this! And the eye can be fooled. --Pete Tillman (talk) 03:46, 4 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
