"Tit song" inclusion
editI don't believe it to be relevant, and to this IP, I believe your incessant citations and unsigned messages on my talk page indicate that you might be WP:NOTHERE, but in the spirit of assuming good faith, let's have a discussion about the merit of including this snippet of trivia and how it should be included. PriusGod (talk) 21:00, 2 May 2023 (UTC) Every dutch person who grew up in the 80s or 90s knows this song. It's not mere trivia, it's the song that made EliZe famous. There would not be an article about her had she not performed it. You may have a problem with the song title, but it is perfectly acceptable in Dutch culture. If you are accusing someone of vandalism while removing sourced facts then you might be WP:NOTHERE yourself. Stop trying to distract from the facts. Perhaps you should look up a translation of the lyrics and read more on the subject Children for Children first?
- I would appreciate if you cooled it on the accusations, and if you were to format your replies properly and sign them. I believe that the appropriate way to include something like this in the article would be to use the song's actual name, in its original language, not your own/a machine translation. Thus, it would be something like "Het Tietenlied," a name for which the song is notable and the way it is referenced in reliable sources, and not "the Tit Song," a name that is not. If there is a reliable source that refers to the song as "The Tit Song" in the actual text of the source, there would be no problem. PriusGod (talk) 21:43, 2 May 2023 (UTC)
- Looks great. Now we can all drop the stick. PriusGod (talk) 22:01, 2 May 2023 (UTC)
You are accusing me of vandalism here. Why would I use a machine to translate something from my native language into my secondary language? Tits is the only possible translation here, they mean exactly the same and even have the same germanic origin. It also fits the context of the song. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:A420:6D:692:844C:D969:ADBE:B314 (talk) 22:06, 2 May 2023 (UTC)
- Like I said. Your last edit looks great. Sorry for accusing you of vandalism. Now we can stop fighting. PriusGod (talk) 22:29, 2 May 2023 (UTC)
