School
editEllie Simmonds and her sister also attended Hydesville Tower School, they went to a school in Aldridge later.

- Have you got a reliable source for that? Keith D (talk) 01:21, 4 February 2013 (UTC)
Other than the fact I went there? Afraid not. I could contact the school I suppose, but a) It's changed hands since then, b) Not sure if anything they could provide would pass muster on Wikipedia. It's not a big deal either way, especially as Hydesville haven't been boasting about having such a prominent alumnus, and I don't think she's been back for any sort of a visit.
The best I can do so far is this, [[1]] which indexes a dead page from hydesville.com which mentions that her mom, Val Simmonds, worked at (actually she may have been a governor or somesuch, I can't recall) at Hydesville. 80.3.134.58 (talk) 19:09, 4 February 2013 (UTC)
Right. I have located a Hydesville school photo from 2001 which shows Ellie Simmonds as a pupil. If I scan and upload this will it suffice as evidence for stating, in the article, that she went to the school?

- Yes that would be proof provided she is mentioned as a pupil or is in school uniform. The problem is, do you own the photo? As if it was a class photograph or a newspaper image then you would not be allowed to upload it as you are not the owner. FruitMonkey (talk) 09:25, 27 July 2013 (UTC)
Photo
editAny chance of finding a different photo of her? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 31.185.225.0 (talk) 17:31, 12 May 2014 (UTC)
- I'm assuming you mean one preferably without Pistorius. Well, we do happen to have one of Ellie on her own here, where she is at the Olympic victory parade. Not sure how anyone else feels about switching it? FruitMonkey (talk) 18:23, 12 May 2014 (UTC)
