Fair use rationale for Image:Emmanuelle in space.jpg

Image:Emmanuelle in space.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Syndicated version without sex?

When this series came out I remember reading that two versions were circulated - a version with the softcore sex scenes that was meant to air on cable, and a version with the more explicit footage removed which was syndicated for broadcast on regular American TV stations. (Similar to how cable shows like Dream On and Sex in the City were re-edited for rebroadcast on network TV at one point; a similar "cleaning" of Entourage for non-cable reruns has also been noted.) How many Parts / Episodes?

I am a little confused. Are there 7 Parts or 8 Parts / Episodes. On the Page its says Quote: "No. of episodes 7 (List of episodes)" But when the List is shown it's this one, Quote : "

   Emmanuelle 2: A World of Desire (1994)
   Emmanuelle 3: A Lesson in Love (1994)
   Emmanuelle 4: Concealed Fantasy (1994)
   Emmanuelle 5: A Time to Dream (1994)
   Emmanuelle 6: One Final Fling (1994)
   Emmanuelle 7: The Meaning of Love (1994)
   Emmanuelle, Queen of the Galaxy (1994)"

But what now about Queen of the Galaxy, is this the 8th Movie in this Series or a Complication from the Others like a "Clip Show" movie. Is this Movie entire new or does it only containe Material from the Previous Episodes? And are the Episodes listed here the orignal Episodes or the alreay edited one because it's also written, Quote: "edited together into feature-length productions". So for example, is First Contact the Oringal Movie or was this one already edited = was this edited from shorter Epsisodes that was aired on TV. How long was the TV Epsiodes? Also about 90 Minutes or was it about 30 Minutes? 40 Minutes? Most of these Movies were about 90 - 100 Mnuten. But are they 90 Minutes from the "Beginning" or are they shorter and edited together for the DVD Realse? • Yeah, this article is confused regarding how many episodes were produced. If it is correct that the series was edited into TV movies, then at the very least there should be 14 episodes listed, or 16. I haven't been able to find supporting evidence that an actual "TV series" existed. It's possible one was planned but they decided to just go with the TV movie format, in which case it arguably was no longer a TV series. Something similar happened when Fox commissioned a series called Manchester Prep. At some point during production of the pilot the decision was made to abandon the TV series, so they filmed some additional sex and nudity scenes and turned it into the direct-to-video film Cruel Intentions 2. I've always been skeptical that a series based upon Emmanuelle could possibly have been viable as a syndicated series, especially not in the 1990s. Cable, yes, but not syndication unless the episodes were indeed about 15 minutes each after all the sexual content was removed... 68.146.52.234 (talk) 14:37, 28 June 2015 (UTC)
