Which Erakor?
editCould we clarify which Erakor is referred to by this article? The description and external links suggest that the island in question is the Erakor at 17°46′34″S 168°18′31″E / 17.776012853105318°S 168.308549708159°E, and this corresponds to the photograph. The coordinates given in the article point to a different, more remote Erakor at 16°48′58″S 168°32′42″E / 16.815991848864673°S 168.5449525502142°E. I think the error is just in the coordinates given, but I thought I'd check before changing them. Jean-de-Nivelle (talk) 17:39, 17 September 2022 (UTC)
Really this article needs to be rewritten. The island near Port Vila is not uninhabited; it's had a resort for at least the last 40 years. Having just been there, I also doubt any of it is 18 metres above sea level. Also the name "Erakor" seems to refer to the community on Efate to the east of the island, the island itself is "Erakor Island". I'd never heard of the other Erakor Island but looking at the maps it does seem to exist. I'm assuming the resort island is the more noteworthy one. --Ausmeerkat (talk) 20:59, 17 January 2023 (UTC)
