Note This review is part of a series of reviews by an editor on articles of a similar topic. Because of this, the various reviews may reference each other. Please also see Los Espantos, Espanto I, Espanto II, Espanto III, Espanto IV and V, Espanto Jr., Espanto Jr. (CMLL), and Los Hijos del Espanto if things are unclear. Disclosure: Both the nom and reviewer are participating in the WikiCup, if need be, anyone may request a second opinion if they feel my review is not following the GA criteria. Thanks. If the comment is numbered, it must be addressed for the article to pass, if it is bulleted, it's an optional suggestion or comment that you don't need to act on right now.
When I quote things, you can use ctrl+f to search the page for the specific line I quoted.

  • "Los Espantos was one of the first examples of an identical trio, where all three members of the team used the same name, mask and wrestling gear only distinguished by a number." I think I've seen this before and recommend it be added other places, but if not, this is an interesting fact that should be in other articles on the first 3 Espantos.

On hold until passage of other Espantos articles. While nothing is particularly wrong with this article on its own, because this article shares a number of similarities with the prose in Los Espantos, Espanto I, and Espanto II, I'm going to hold off on passing it until I close those ones to make sure this one also benefits from the changes and mild expansions going on there. Basically I'm invoking WP:IAR as I'm not comfortable passing this knowing the other highly similar articles are still being changed, and want to make sure this one benefits from any modifications going on there. I'd be open to discuss this decision however if the nom or other editors object. Wugapodes [thɔk] [kantʃɻɪbz] 03:18, 13 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
