@Howardcorn33 I've removed the flag and the predecessors stuff from the infobox. Does that resolve most of the points above aside from the subjective opinion that the hook is not interesting?TarnishedPath^talk 14:29, 13 June 2025 (UTC)

@Howardcorn33 fixed. Per the interesting part, I'd think that it is only uninteresting if you know who they are, which can be said of almost every hook. If there anything else which is uncited? TarnishedPath^talk 16:15, 13 June 2025 (UTC)

@TarnishedPath: Infobox and citations are OK. I suppose I can only speak for myself when saying if something is interesting, but the provided hook only describes a stated aim of a Western far-right organization which may well apply to dozens of far-right organizations around the world. I don't see anything exceptional about it. (Just to be clear, this is my 3rd time reviewing a DYK, so I'm not the most experienced to talk about this. • It is a strange situation where there are some quite extreme views yet I instinctively agree with Howardcorn33 that they're what I would expect. I prefer ALT2 in that respect, but have a couple of concerns. Firstly, a quote should have quotation marks in the article. Secondly, the news story displays the phrase prominently in its image, but doesn't directly comment on it. It does say the flyer contains "racist messaging", which may refer to blood and honour. Worth noting here that Blood and honour is also included in the Wagga Wagga flyers (they look like the same flyer), which according to the relevant news source also saw investigation by NSW police. The phrase is called out in this story from Adelaide, but it is unclear to me if that's the same neo-nazi group. If the global extremism source is integrated into the sentence/hook, that may work. Alternatively, would the burning of an aboriginal flag provide an alternative along the same themes? That would rely just on the SMH story. CMD (talk) 09:28, 17 July 2025 (UTC)

@Chipmunkdavis Thanks for your time reviewing the article. I hope what you were referring to as needing quotation marks, I took care of just now at Special:Diff/1300972095. Please let me know if it was something else. Regarding the flyer, in the ABC story it states directly below the image "Material from the far right European Australian Movement has recently been left in Adelaide letterboxes. (Supplied)" with the first paragraph stating that distribution of the racist white supremacist material was being investigated by police.

Integrating the global extremism source perhaps we could go with:

How does that look. I've added material to the article at Special:Diff/1300974494 so that it is covered in the article. In regards to the burning of an aboriginal flag, the SMH article doesn't directly state the individual named did that as part of their membership of EAM and there are other articles which mention National Socialist Network (NSN) in relation to the flag burning (see here for example). Part of the difficulty writing about EAN is the membership has overlap with NSN and their flags are similar. The media sometimes refers to one, when they should probably be referring to the other. That quote change you made is good from a copyvio perspective (and it is probably smart to quote sentencing), but the specific part I was looking at was "had the phrase blood and honour printed on them", "blood and honour" should have quotation marks to clearly mark it as the slogan. The SMH source had the flag burning in the same paragraph as this group, but easy to see how the groups could be confused (if they even are that distinct). Marked the new version as ALT2b, I think it works. Not seeing any other concerns at another quick check, so when it is clear "blood and honour" is a quote, I think this meets criteria.
