editI will be working on this butterfly as a part of my class project. All suggestions are welcome. I will continue to work some sections such as the mechanism of sound production by the larva.

Behavioral Ecology Project 2017
editS.srivatsa here. I added a clarifying sentence to the opening paragraph, making clearer the mutualistic relationship between this butterfly and ants. I also added internal links to the following words: micropyle and chalazae. Finally, there is a lot of information about morphology in this article, and much less about behavior. I noticed that there was not a mating section or a feeding section, both of which would be excellent behavioral sections to add, if you can find appropriate sources. I like that there is a section on pollination, but directly below that it would be good to talk about host-plants and what types of plants the butterfly feeds on. — Preceding unsigned comment added by S.srivatsa (talk • contribs) 17:59, 5 October 2017 (UTC)
- Hey S.srivatsa! The article is a little unbalanced because of the over-representation of the morphology of the butterfly. But this is primarily because there isn't enough solid literature available on this butterfly apart from those references that I have already cited. There is one section about the larval sound production that I intend to eventually elaborate on. Thank you for your edits and comments! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shreenidhipm (talk • contribs) 03:04, 6 October 2017 (UTC)
Hi this is LucasKatherine! I am also working on this page for a behavioral ecology project. I found the life cycle section to be very thorough, although I would like to see more on the species' mutualism with ants, if possible. I added a section on physiology, covering E. elvina's capacity to produce sound. I also made some changes in regards to wording and grammar. I would also like to see more on this page in regards to behavior! LucasKatherine (talk) 04:20, 6 October 2017 (UTC)
Hello! There was a lot of interesting information about the life cycle, which I think was well written. However, if possible, there are other behavioral sections I feel could be added. There is nothing really about range/habitat, one of the most important aspects of any species page. Because there was so much information available about life cycle, adding pictures to the various stages would be interesting! If not, adding a few more pictures of the adult butterfly would still be beneficial. I also made some grammatical edits and added other Wikipedia links. Mperumattam (talk) 06:00, 6 October 2017 (UTC)
