editThis article, like the main article, is designed for a reader who does not have a background in molecular biology. The example used here introduces a lot of terms, components, and concepts about PCR, but many other details are omitted for the sake of clarity.
If you want to bring in another example, you will have to also change the text of the main article to indicate that multiple examples are being described. Here, you should use different section headings to separate the examples.
Additional examples should be significantly different than those already used. I'd love to see at least two other examples: 1) follow a crime-scene blood spot through STR (i.e. CODIS) testing, and 2) follow an example of Real-Time PCR being used to quantitate the viral load in an AIDS patient.
