editSo are her visions ever explained? Why was she able to see through the killer's eyes?
Seems like Strange Days took some ideas from this movie.
Correct title
editThe correct title of this article is The Eyes of Laura Mars. Dropping the article is discommended when it is part of a title: The Tempest. --Wetman (talk) 03:24, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
- I thought that was the title, too. I just ran the film, and the title of this film really is "Eyes of Laura Mars", without "The".
- The book of photographs seen in the film is titled "The Eyes of Mars", which is probably the reason for the confusion. Kid Bugs (talk) 23:27, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
Streisand visiting the set
editIn the second paragraph it says It was reported that Peters and Dunaway had a tense relationship while making the film, and that Streisand visited the set on a few occasions.
What has Peters and Dunaway having a tense relationship to do with Streisand visiting the set? Whay have they been put in the same sentance this (very bad) way? Unless there was something to it, that's not begin said here, then the fact that Streisand may have visited the set is not even worth mentioning. Dannman (talk) 15:44, 7 October 2010 (UTC)
- I've got around to removing the bit about Streisand visiting the set. I don't see that it's needed at all. If it goes back in, maybe put it further up her involvement in the film is mentioned. Dannman (talk) 09:54, 12 May 2015 (UTC)
Detective calls killer I (capital i, first person singlar)
editWhen the detective is speculating about the killers past, he goes from 'he' (third person) to saying 'I' (first person), refering to himself. In the DVD comatary it points this out and says this is when Laura Mars realises it's the detective.
I don't know wheather the bit about ("Her knowledge of here colleague Tommy") is actually wronge so don't want to take it out at the moment.
I'll get round a doing the edit. Just got a couple of things on at the moment. (More bothered about good writing for the artical than for the talk page!)
The Eyes That Wouldn't Die - Night Gallery
editDid Anyone notice that this movie lifts it's plot from an episode of Night Gallery called "The Eyes That Wouldn't Die". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2604:2000:14C5:8762:219:E3FF:FED3:9BF8 (talk) 06:51, 3 December 2018 (UTC)
Sequel
editThere is a statement claiming if successful, a sequel Eyes of Laura Mars 2 through the eyes of Charles Mars would film. No source is cited and I can find no source for this. So, I am removing it.
