Talk:Family Law (Canadian TV series)

Latest comment: 9 months ago by Butlerblog in topic Edit warring over dates

On the page section https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Family_Law_(Canadian_TV_series)#International it mentions the Canadian TV series Family Law ’s international distribution is managed by ‘Entertainment One (eOne), yet on its Wikipedia page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Entertainment_One#TV_series there is no mention of the series on the long list of credits. I’m a fan of the series and so I thought of bringing that matter up for edit on eOne’s page, or having the page for Family law corrected. Both can’t be right; one of the pages needs to be updated or corrected. I’m unfortunately very lousy at using the Wiki editing features, and believe me I tried, so I bring this to the attention of anyone who can and would be kind enough to correct it.

Season 2

edit

Hello, @Kennet.mattfolk and @Fryman20. Please stop wrestling. Yes, there are 2 seasons and 20 episodes already on screens. But unfortunately, I searched a lot for weeks and coudn't find any source for this. The site that streamed season 2 in Australia removed it a week ago, probably due to The CW request. I can not confirm or deny either I've watched season 2 a couple of months ago, but it's very interesting. And there are no sources at all that season 2 appeared at May 2022. [1] Didn't add the source cause some wiki editors don't like non-english language sources, but this is mine. Kennet.mattfolk (talk) 05:34, 11 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
Wow. This was my source I mentioned before. So, they removed in English and it's remains in Finnish. Interesting. Don't know if such a source is allowed here. IKhitron (talk) 12:00, 11 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
The finnish version to my understanding is a merged version of Viaplay and Elisa Vihde, it's otherwords not necesseraly 1 to 1 with the rest of Viaplay. I think. Kennet.mattfolk (talk) 13:50, 12 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Season 2 table and information added, as retrieved from [2]https://www.imdb.com/title/tt11873484/episodes?season=2 and [3]https://thetvdb.com/series/family-law-2021/seasons/official/2. Aussiejed (talk) 07:01, 12 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Edit warring over dates

edit

@Taeisawesome21: & @Xeditboy: Please stop edit warring over dates (or, if you can't, then make sure the dates you change are properly formatted so I stop seeing it). This article keeps getting picked up in Category:Episode lists with unformatted air dates which then gets picked up by my bot for correcting. I haven't counted how many times this same edit has gone back and forth, but even if it's outside the 3RR in 24 hours bright line, it's still edit warring, which is disruptive. @Xeditboy: If it's an issue, continued reversion puts you in the same boat as the other user. Just because your edit is "right" is not a valid exemption from WP:3RR. Work out the issue on the TP please or seek proper dispute resolution without further disruption to the article. Since editors involved used user talk for discussion rather than the article, I'm linking the discussion here for reference. ButlerBlog (talk) 13:03, 5 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
After confirming with one of the template editors, if the program is a co-production (which it is based on the sources listed), it should use {{Plainlist}} to list them per the template docs. ButlerBlog (talk) 13:04, 5 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
