The image that was previously in the article's infobox might be incorrect, so I have reverted it from the article pending further research. It is a photograph of a farmhouse and the original handwritten caption says "Pine Grove or Ferry Farm". There is nothing on the original that explicitly states anything about George Washington's Ferry Farm. Presently, the only place I have seen this image connected with Washington is in this Wikipedia Ferry Farm article. The original is identified from the Library of Congress as being "Pine Grove or Ferry Farm, Fredericksburg, Va." but there were probably many ferries and many Ferry Farms in the general vicinity of Fredericksburg, Virginia (it's a tidal river area after all). It certainly could be the Ferry Farm of this article, but I would like to make sure of that assertion before the photograph is possibly placed back into the article. Did some more research. At least in the 1920s (the Library of Congress information and the 1926 magazine article) Ferry Farm was also known as "Pine Grove Farm". Shearonink (talk) 03:41, 27 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
