I think it would be beneficial to note the true findings of these papers. There seems to be confusion that this is insignificant because the banks did the job of filing SARs. While true, the point is that this was shown to be ineffective; FinCEN and the banks were ineffective at stopping money laundering. Thoughts? TexanElite (talk) 19:19, 21 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
I had re-written the introductory statement to make the consequences of the SARs more clear earlier in the day. It's the 3rd sentence of the introduction. I had a line in findings "They also criticise the United States government for not forcing the banks to stop this activity."
