History
editI suggest adding the Portuguese contributions to San Francisco's commercial fishing as well as Italians'. The history section could be added to with content taken from sources such as the following: http://fishermanswharf.org/history.aspx?q=10000 and http://fishermanswharf.org/upload/history/Port%20Walk%202.pdf .Pegordon (talk) 20:24, 17 November 2012 (UTC)
There are insufficient sources in the history section. Sources about the early history are not present and the present sources are not cited properly.Ruben Rick (talk) 08:26, 15 April 2019 (UTC)
August 2015
editThis article has been tagged with {{refimprove}} since November 2009. This is way too long for an article to need citation improvements. Typically, I would propose such articles for deletion, but this is just too notable (I was in San Francisco last week and saw signs for it everywhere). Therefore, PROD is not a choice, but there has to be some other way to fix this article. I strongly oppose deletion in any way, shape or form. 166.197.183.44 (talk) 03:09, 25 August 2015 (UTC)
