Unofficial flag
editI'm interested, that why were you deleted that file? I think that if we talk about "Flag of Vojvodina" then we need to mention that flag too. Who cares how you feel about that flag? For exemple for me the official flag means serbian nationalism and colonialism, but I will NOT delete that.
- That is not unofficial flag of Vojvodina, but flag of LSV political party. I am sure that you can post this flag into article about that political party. Regarding your "opinion" about "serbian nationalism and colonialism", this is not political forum, so find some other place to writte that crap and also read some history about Austro-Hungarian colonialism from 18th and 19th century. Thank you. PANONIAN (talk) 18:03, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
- Well you were wrong, an as I see, looking into your past contributions there is heaps of it. You stopped someone who in good faith tried to publish information. Although that person did not have coroboration for his information, you shouldn't have deleted it. As you acknowledged this fact now with proper sources. Am I right, or not. Ha. - No, I never stopped anybody with good faith - how the one who speak about "serbian colonialism" can have good faith? He is just a frustrated troll who want to start new Balkan wars. And what about I was wrong? Am I wrong that it is a party flag of the LSV? PANONIAN (talk) 13:04, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
- Do you need spectacles or contact lenses. I do not. You have stopped a person that wanted to place one of the Serbian uprising and revolutionary flag of Sajkasa Battalion (1848) that is currently used with some pollitical options in Vojvodina. You deliberately mixed historical and todays events. The person that wanted to publish the blue-yellow-green banner wanted to place some of the history of Vojvodina in Wikipedia and you stopped him. Finnaly (about this topic). You placed a Serbian national flag with the Austrian eagle COA and said THAT IS THE HISTORICAL FLAG OF VOJVODINA - you based this on the one newspaper article. What are we talking about. One day everything good that You have done would be shadowed with this kind of self-loving and greatness that you think of yourself, would be shadowed with this kind of discusions and with you not beeing open-minded. - So, you lie again, right? For you information, it was not me who reverted edits of user Verebloci, but another user, as you can see here: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Flag_of_Vojvodina&oldid=112307982&oldid=112172435&oldid=112118009&oldid=112117269&oldid=112100528&oldid=110386104&oldid=101440533&oldid=101104288&oldid=88101994&diff=88101994&oldid=88082933 Second: as you can see, user Verebloci posted into article false information claiming that it is flag of the Republic of Vojvodina, and since Republic of Vojvodina does not exist, it is clear that user Verebloci posted here complete crap and then wrote on the talk page provocation about "Serbian colonialism". Also, the "Serbian national flag with the Austrian eagle" was also not posted into Wikipedia by me, but by another user, who quoted his source for it. I really have no time for this kind of discussion. PANONIAN (talk) 19:03, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
- First of all the user deserved editing not deleting his oppinion all together, secondly HELL OF A SOURCE with which you do not have any problem. Imbris 02:25, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
- Wikipedia IS NOT A PLACE for people to post their "opinions" - that is what Internet Forums are. Wikipedia is place for facts. And the only source that I have problem with are users with bad faith. PANONIAN (talk) 08:40, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
insecure nation
editBoy is there any other insecure nation that says one thing a million times so when they say it they would believe it :) "It has three yellow stars which are representing: Bačka, Banat and Srem, parts of Vojvodina, but they also resemble the flag of EU, which signifies that Vojvodina is a European region, and that Vojvodina hopes to become a member of the EU sometime, as part of Serbia." , everywhere, "as a part of Serbia". Well Voivodina is a part of Serbia it is stupid to repeat it a million times, or maybe the repeating is here because the people of Central Serbia are not sure..It is becoming redundant.iadrian (talk) 10:18, 20 February 2010 (UTC)
Historical flag
editThis is the only credible source I've managed to find concerning the supposed flag from 1848, source (bottom of the page). As you will read, the description of the flag is quite different then from the ¹"Leksiklopedija" (column), TV Novosti magazine, Belgrade, 1991 which I've never manged to find. For the time being I suggest we discontinue use of the flag in other articles until dispute is settled. (Buttons (talk))
Disputed parts?
editWell, I do not see what exactly is disputed in the claim that flag of Vojvodina is based on the flag of Serbia? It uses exactly same tricolor. On which other flag it could be based? PANONIAN 14:51, 12 March 2012 (UTC)
