editThe forum gets only a single hit on google, and for a body in existance since 1988, that is an indictment in itself, in these go-getting days. However, publicity is rarely an accurate indicator of worth. The name "Maheswar Neog," first president of this forum, receives but 326 google hits, but he is well known for his efforts to revive the Sattriya dance-form of Assam. That region of India is sadly neglected on WP (as elsewhere) to the extent that until I did the needful, even babel-boxes for the Assamese language did not exist!!
For these reasons, I favour retaining the article -- no harm. Ten to one, the FoSS does some worthwhile cultural work, is not a commercial body (hence this page is not advertisement} but can be considered (like say, the Red Cross)a 'corporate' for purposes of retention in Wikipedia.
