I see some mess about reaching about 2.1 billion views on youtube. The original youtube post didn't joke about being "broken" by this achievement, so there was no confusion. Now the article ends up in saying the update was not because of Gangnam style, and that is not true. Just imagine, months before youtube engineers are talking about the issue, saying they are completely sure noone, absolutely never will surpass this limit, but they just want to upgrade for fun? This is ridiculous, they upgraded because Gangnam style's growing number!
In fact this result is so unique, it should be in the introduction, as since then the video has been overtaken some others as the most viewed video, but those other videos haven't forced any youtube software update, as the new count limit is extremely big. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.224.72.250 (talk) 11:07, 17 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
