Assessment

edit

The article is solid, but needs more references at this length, and a wider range would be helpful too. The text in the article is detailed and I think this article could soon have A status. Tmwerty (talk) 14:15, 2 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Please note that WPSchools requires articles to pass a GA review in order to be A-class. --Jh12 (talk) 13:54, 8 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

I would love for anyone with knowledge about Garden City High School to add accurate information to help improve this article. I am trying desperately to make this become an A or possibly even a featured article. If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it! —Preceding unsigned comment added by JHawk88 (talkcontribs) 03:32, 11 March 2009

As at the time of GAN, this article remains rather close to the border for what is generally considered acceptable as GA standard. I've improved some prose and removed some unencyclopedic statements. Less reliance should be placed on the school history as a source. I've added citation needed templates in some sections. Also there is repetition between the history and the athletics: indeed the article is rather dominated by the athletics history of the school. Geometry guy 21:13, 19 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request it's removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.

Below is a list of links that were found on the main page:

Triggered by \bstatsheet\.com\b on the local blacklist
  • http://statsheet.com/mcb/players/player/texas/brandy-perryman
Triggered by \bstatsheet\.com\b on the local blacklist

Lacks citations for large parts of the article. For instance, the sections school layout, music, and performing arts are largely uncited. Also some updates needed (f.i. Currently, Garden City requires students to complete 26½ credits in order to graduate -> stil true 13 years later?). —Femke 🐦 (talk) 11:57, 12 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Delist - Per above. No signs of any issues being solved. Onegreatjoke (talk) 17:50, 17 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
