Fair use rationale for Image:Gautham.jpg

edit

Image:Gautham.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Date of Birth

edit

There is a discrepancy between the date of birth given in the side box and the one in the leading para. Needs verification and citation.  REINCARNUT  (I'm over here) - You gotta do what you gotta do. 18:31, 30 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

New Film (2010) with Dileep

edit

I found this article on Dileep_(actor)'s fan website at www.dileepfansclub.co.cc/news/2009/dileep-in-goutam-menons-film that Gautham Menon has a movie scheduled for 2010 with Dileep as the lead actor. Not really sure of the source, but looks like a magazine scan. Should this be put up?

"I had to make the link text because wikipedia had blocked the website's links"

edit

In this interview with Behindwoods, Gautham has stated a lot about himself. It would be useful to use some info from the url in the article. I am feeling lazy to do it, so I would be happy if someone does it. :) Secret of success (Talk) 16:13, 16 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned references in Gautham Menon

edit

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Gautham Menon's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "deccan":

  • From Uthara Menon: Subramanian, Anupama (February 12, 2020). "Costumes are as important as director's job: Uthara". Deccan Chronicle.
  • From Trance (2020 film): Chacko, Vineeth T. (7 March 2020). "'Trance' movie review: A thought-provoking daze". Deccan Herald. Retrieved 8 March 2020.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 20:49, 9 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
