AK-8
editThe George Parks Highway is not the western terminus of the Denali Highway. While I may appear to be splitting hairs here, the Denali Highway (AK-8) does continue to the Cantwell Airport on the west side of the Parks. This is also noted already in the Denali Highway article.
Exit list and towns list
editBoth of these in the article should be merged together. The combined table should list all of the major intersections along the highway, even if they aren't exits on the freeway sections. This section should be reformatted along the lines of MOS:RJL so that the locations (Borough and city/location) are listed along the way. Boldface text should be removed as well. Controversy section
editThe existing controversy section is just meaningless WP:NOTNEWS bullshit, part of an effort to gratuitously spam various Wikipedia articles with mentions of Sarah Palin in the wake of her vice-presidential candidacy. This is far from the only article which suffers from this problem. However, there was controversy over this road many years ago, which is why it was built largely piecemeal over a long period of time. Most of the controversy goes back to the first Egan governorship, which means that finding proper sources isn't going to be as easy as just effortlessly rehashing fleeting news headlines. Good to see that some effort is being made, though.RadioKAOS (talk) 23:35, 14 September 2012 (UTC)
