repeated section
editIs there a reason to repeat this text in such a brief article?
"Borrowing from the American model, the awards have been made by an academy, the Deutsche Filmakademie, since 2005. The academy replaces a much-criticised jury which was constituted according to the principle of political proportionality, and on which politicians and clergymen also sat. Now the jury consists of the members of the German Film Academy, which makes them a well specialized jury."
Request for move
editI believe this article should be moved to German Film Award (which is currently a redirect) and instead Deutscher Filmpreis should be the redirect. Using the English title instead of the native language title would be in keeping with nearly every other Award in Template:National Cinema Awards, including the other two German language awards Austrian Film Award and Swiss Film Award. --Sprachraum (talk) 00:11, 2 February 2021 (UTC)
