Discrepancy
editThe article states near the end:
'The ship hit a mine and broke in half, sinking with the loss of 282 of her crew. Only 60 were saved.' 282 + 60 = 342
According to the info box the crew numbered 325
So, which figure or figures, is correct ?

- The reference I've added only confirms that 282 sailors were killed but does not mention how many survived. However, 60 could be correct as crew figures on war ships do vary after all. Calistemon (talk) 14:20, 19 November 2010 (UTC)

I had a few minor points, but it was nothing major so I went ahead and fixed them myself. Passing the article for GA with these fixes in mind. There aren't any dab links or external links, and the references all appear to be in order. —Ed!(talk) 20:41, 2 December 2011 (UTC)
Picture
editThe main photo seems to be of the Paul Jakobi which is 1934A class recognisable by having the step-down in the hull slightly further aft of the forefunnel but the smaller photos are the Leberecht Maas. I don't know how to fix this. --Streona (talk) 23:07, 25 November 2013 (UTC)
- I can not tell at a resolution this bad. You can find contemporary photos/postcards (Verlag: M. Dieterle & Sohn) which show Leberecht Maass from the same angle with no noteable difference to this Wikipedia picture. So I can not recommend changes to the file.
