The film is based on a serial killer Karl Hochman (Marcoux), the "address book killer" who is nearly slain by a head-on collision with a truck.
This statement makes it sound like Karl Hochman is a real serial killer and somehow inspired this movie. I haven't seen it, but suspect this is not the case - could someone who's seen it fix that? -Elizabennet22:05, 22 November 2006 (UTC)Reply
