Fair use rationale for Image:Crossrail icon.png

edit

Image:Crossrail icon.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Content dispute

edit

I have applied one week's Full protection to this page because it is clear that there is a dispute over content which is not being resolved by discussion. This must stop. There is an open thread on this matter at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject UK Railways#Routeboxes, June 2015 and hopefully we can arrive at a solution which suits all articles on British railway stations. --Redrose64 (talk) 23:06, 17 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Distance down line?

edit

Precisely how far down the GEML is this station from the London Liverpool Street terminus? --TBM10 (talk) 19:33, 13 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

13 miles 41 chains. What you need is a book like Quail/Trackmaps. --Redrose64 (talk) 20:02, 13 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

March 2016 routebox issue

edit

Why did you delete the Southend route box at Gidea Park, Harold Wood and Brentwood, you said it could stay and also I have more reasons for why the service could stay; the service in NR not XR, the service is not limited as it runs every half hour on Sundays, Edmonton Green and Seven Sisters are served by limited peak services and yet they get their own route boxes but these don't and out of these stations Gidea Park, Harold Wood and Brentwood are served by more AGA services. 94.192.71.206 (talk) 21:56, 14 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Who is the "you" in "you said it could stay"?
The convention is that routeboxes do not include Sunday services, they also exclude limited services. We do not attempt to cover every possible timetable variation - just the station on each side in the normal course of the basic timetable.

Sorry I was talking to TBM10, but anyway about the route boxes, I agree that these Southend services shouldn't be shown at Romford or Shenfield, since there is already AGA services already shown, personally in this kind of situation where the station is served by the main operator, but is also served by another operator, but the other operator only serves once a day or peak times or Sundays, then I personally think the limited operator should be shown in that kind of situation and you once said before back in June 2015 on wikirailwaysproject box , whatever its called that services higher than 14% can have a routebox and AGA services at Gidea Park are more than 14%. 94.192.71.206 (talk) 20:19, 15 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
