This article should not be speedy deleted as being recently created, having no relevant page history and duplicating an existing English Wikipedia topic, because it refers to Gigaset AG, a separate company from Gigaset Communications GmbH. • Merge. The former Siemens Home and Office Communication Devices and the former Arques AG should be in one article named Gigaset, the two standalone articles are unnecessary.   @162 etc.: I'm not firmly opposed to a merge, but that's not what's being discussed here. I assume you'd want to merge Gigaset Communications into this article? • Looking through Category:Electronics companies of Germany and similar cats, there appears to be a mix of article titles that include legal suffixes ("AG", "GmbH") and those that do not. Gigaset Communications is very light on reliable source citations; its history can easily fit in a short paragraph here at the main article. 162 etc. (talk) 18:46, 28 November 2025 (UTC)

• Tentative Oppose. Gigaset Communications has a distinct history from Gigaset AG. The company was originally established by Siemens before being acquired by Gigaset, and is now owned by VTech. Sourcing on enwiki is poor, but there appear to be plenty of sources at de:Gigaset Technologies that can be used to flesh out the article.
