• I'm not really loving the immediacy of the footnote for the alt-name of the game (particularly as it smashes into the italic text), would it be too harmful to put it at the end of the sentence?
  • I'm not really married to it either, though in my experience I tend to see it immediately after the name.
• "within months of the Virtual Boy console's launch" this would be more meaningful to most of us if we knew when that actually was?

Okay, I made a few tweaks as you'd perhaps missed or misunderstood a couple of my comments. I'm content that it's just about there now.
