In generally good shape for GA, just a few things to look at.
Lead
- "... and relighted as...": Shouldn't that be "relit"?
- Fixed. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 04:47, 4 May 2014 (UTC)
- "...town of Griswold...": Shouldn't that be Greenwich? As Greenwich has already been mentioned there won't be the need for the "town of".
- Fixed. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 04:47, 4 May 2014 (UTC)
Location and geology
- Links for Little Captain and Wee Captain?
- No articles and minor islands of little importance - both are actually one island I think as well.
- "The Town of Greenville...": Shouldn't that be Greenwich?
- Fixed. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 04:47, 4 May 2014 (UTC)
History
- "...island to John Anderson.": link to Anderson and perhaps provide some context for who he is? Ditto for Samuel Lyons.
- Non-notable individuals it seems, nothing matching an article and this Samuel Lyons is not the same as Samuel Lyons. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 04:47, 4 May 2014 (UTC)
- "...of the Constitution State.": Presumably this is Connecticut but this strikes me as being a bit colloquial?
- Fixed. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 04:47, 4 May 2014 (UTC)
- "...The Town of Greenwich.." Should the town be in title case? Applies elsewhere in the article as well.
- I believe so, it is a governing body in a sense like the United States Congress. Not 100% sure though. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 04:47, 4 May 2014 (UTC)
- "...until the town purchased...": probably should state Greenwich here.
- Fixed. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 04:47, 4 May 2014 (UTC)
Wildlife
- Audubon Greenwich/Audubon Connecticut: I'm not sure where either of these are in relation to the island so maybe context is required? Are these really different areas?
- Removed... not important but the Audubon issues are a headache to the uninformed and would require a lot of needless explanation. But the National Audubon Society and Audubon Connecticut are not the same, but the two own different sites in Connecticut... Go figure, I've tried to make some sense of it in other articles, but for all intents and purposes - that confusing naming issue is irrelevant here. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 04:50, 4 May 2014 (UTC)
Other stuff
- Image licences look fine.
- No dup links.
- No dab links.
- The formatting of the references could be tweaked so they are all consistently presented. Eg, the [1] in ref 2, missing full stops etc...
- Fixed. Converted refs to citation templates. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 04:47, 4 May 2014 (UTC)
- According to checklinks tool, the external link is dead.
- Backed up with an archive.org link. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 04:47, 4 May 2014 (UTC)
- The infobox states 3 people live on the island; who are they? Does the restored property have caretakers?
- For privacy reasons, I do not want to specifically highlight the names of the caretakers - but I do have a link for the family in 2012. I have added and cited it however. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 04:47, 4 May 2014 (UTC)
Fixed a few typos and made a tweak or two on my way through as well. I will check on progress in a few days and to hopefully pass as GA. Zawed (talk) 08:55, 3 May 2014 (UTC)
- @Zawed: Should be good to go now. Thanks for reviewing. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 04:47, 4 May 2014 (UTC)
- looks good, passing as GA. Zawed (talk) 06:57, 6 May 2014 (UTC)
