I just want to make a comment: There´s a mistake in the article. You say Gricel was named so because of the song "Gricel" (tango), usually performed by Carlos Gardel. Well, Carlos Gardel never did it. He died about 5 years before that song was written by the author, José María Contursi.
Moved. This shouldn't even require a vote, it's common sense. — FireFox 10:18, 29 May '06
demf I've rewritten this article quite a bit. I can't claim Gricel as a close friend, but we're acquainted with each other well enough as to be glad in each other's company when we meet. However, as I've done with all my Wiki articles, I've done my best to keep an objective eye on her bio. I am not kissing her (shapely) rear end here. Since her image is being beamed to the mainland United States now, and since there's talk to take her into some nationwide Latino TV show soon, there's a decent chance that she'll become well known outside the otherwise insular Puerto Rican entertainment world, if she's not already. Please hold off from deleting it until something comes out of these talks. 19:44, 9 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
