- After the centre was closed speculation arose that the site would be redeveloped as a modern housing estate. However in May 2009 Kingswood Education and Adventure Centres announced that they had acquired the site and would invest over £5m in re-opening the centre as a facility catering for schools and colleges in the South-East with programmes that catered for 7-17 year old that developed skills and knowledge in ICT, Environmental studies, Languages as well as sport and adventure activities. The name Grosvenor Hall would remain as well as a commitment to recognise the long history and rich heritage as a police training centre of excellence
